Mina Sharif was raised as diaspora in Canada, and moved to Kabul Afghanistan in 2005 where she lived until 2019. She is the founder of a nationwide mentorship program for Afghan women and girls, and leads numerous aid initiatives for Afghanistan remotely from Canada. She co-hosts a popular diaspora focused podcast series, and is a recognized advocate for Afghanistan. She has been featured in and contributed to multiple publications, television, podcast and radio programs. Mari Sharif was raised in Afghanistan and began her life over in Canada as a refugee. She served as a renowned settlement service provider for over 34 years and regularly consults settlement providers.
